PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil level inspection window of an engine which can be installed even at a poison which spans the mated surfaces of an oil pan and a crank casing. SOLUTION: This inspection window 6 for visually inspecting the level of oil reserved in an oil reserving chamber 2 in an engine 1, is formed separately from the engine 1. This inspection window 6 has a body 7 to be attached to a surface of the engine 1. The body 7 is provided with a communication chamber 8 communicating with the oil reserving chamber 2 and a window part 9 covering the distal end of the communication chamber 8.
