PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid agent for cleaning, usable by impregnating in tissue paper, etc., in use and effective for removing stain and dust without generating wiping unevenness, etc., by compounding a specific cationic surfactant, a nonionic surfactant and an isoparaffinic hydrocarbon. SOLUTION: The objective liquid agent contains (A) 0.2-5 wt.% (in terms of active component) quaternary ammonium salt-type cationic surfactant, (B) 0.5-10 wt.% (in terms of active component) nonionic surfactant and (C) 85-99.3 wt.% isoparaffinic hydrocarbon. The component A is preferably monoalkyltrimethylammonium salt, dialkyldimethylammonium salt, etc. The component B is preferably a nitrogen-containing nonionic surfactant, etc., and the component C is preferably a compound of formula ((n) is 2-4). The component C preferably has a vapor pressure of 10-200 mmHg at 80 deg.C.
