PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a bean-containing coffee beverage having improved workability of plant production, high qualities and excellent preservability of essential flavor of coffee. SOLUTION: Roasted coffee beans are subjected to hot water treatment at 70 deg.C to 95 deg.C for 30 minutes to 120 minutes and/or steam treatment having the same effect as that of hot water treatment to give roasted coffee bean. This bean-containing coffee beverage contains the roasted coffee bean. This method for producing the bean-containing coffee beverage includes a process for adding the roasted coffee bean to a container.
