PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy sheet capable of improving the uniformity of color tone of anodic oxidation coating film, as well as the uniformity of roughened surface, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This aluminum alloy sheet has a composition consisting of, by weight, 0.2-0.6% Fe, 0.03-0.20% Si, 0.005-0.05% Ti, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities. Intermetallic compounds of 1-10 7μm grain size, among those formed at the surface of the aluminum alloy sheet, exist by (2000 to 4000) pieces/mm2. Further, when [M] represents the total number of the intermetallic compounds of 1-10μm grain size per unit area and [Al6Fe] represents the number of Al5Fe among the intermetallic compounds of 1-10μm grain size per unit area, [Al6Fe]/[M]<=0.3 is satisfied.
