PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the draining of a mirror and, in its turn, run the flow of water more satisfactorily to prevent the adhesion of a contaminant such as metal or soap resulted from water to the mirror surface by arranging, in a hydrophilic mirror, a means for guiding excess water exceeding an allowable quantity retainable as water membrane on the mirror surface. SOLUTION: A means for guiding excess water exceeding an allowable quantity retainable as water membrane is provided on the surface of a mirror, whereby a hydrophilic bathroom mirror is formed. This bathroom mirror suitably has a fine irregular structure on the surface, and such fine irregularities constitute the hydrophilic member. As the excess water guiding means, the mirror lower edge is suitably chamfered, and the angle of chamfer is suitably set to 60 deg. or more although any angle exceeding 45 deg. is adaptable. When the angle of chamferαis larger, the chamfer inclinationβis smaller, so that the excess water can more smoothly flow. A chamfer angle part 4 in the connection part of a hydrophilic mirror surface 2 with a chamfer part 3 is further chamfered, whereby the flow of excess water can be made more satisfactory.
