PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily deliver out screened matters by providing a screen for removing matters to be screened in a dirty water or sewage, a means to carry screened matters, and a hopper to cool and store the matters. SOLUTION: Matters to be screened that flows down in a water passage 2 are collected by a fine-mesh type screen 1, then scooped up to an upper part of the screen 1 being driven by the screen 1, and dropped into a trough 3. The matters sticking to the screen 1 and hard to drop are dropped in the trough 3 by the application of washing water jetted out from a washing nozzle 7 thereto. The matters dropped therein are conveyed to a storing hopper 5 by the rotation of a screw 41 through the inside of a conveying cylinder 4, and cooled by a cooling wind jetted out from a cooling means 6. Furthermore, the matters cooled in the hopper 5 are loaded on a truck T, then conveyed thereby out of a sewage treatment facility and subjected to burning treatment. Accordingly, the purpose is attained.
