PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the surface of a preform from being scratched by forming an engaging protrusion which is engaged with the inner face of a ring part in the ring part fitting part of a closed-end barrel part of a cylindrical shape connected to a neck part including an opening part. SOLUTION: The neck part 12 of a preform 10 has an opening part 16 formed on the opposite side to a barrel part 14 at a part where a cap is mounted. In addition, on the outer peripheral face of the neck part 12, a support ring 18 is formed at a border part with the barrel part 14 and at the same time, a threaded part 20 is formed on the opening part 14 side and a locking ring 22 is formed in an intermediate region between the threaded part 20 and the support ring 18. Further, a handle 26 is fitted to the barrel part 14 and an engaging protrusion 32 which is engaged with the handle 26 is formed at a mounting part 28 on which the handle 26 is mounted. Consequently, the part coming into contact with the inner face of a ring part 34 of the handle 26 becomes small, and thereby the surface of the preform 10 is prevented from being scratched.
