PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel pump structure of an outboard motor for marine use with its cylinder head constructed small. SOLUTION: A multi-cylinder engine as outboard motor for marine use includes a cylinder head 8, equipped with a cam shaft 21 to constitute a dynamic valve device 20 and a fuel pump 50 operating with the advancing and retreating motions of a plunger 51, wherein bearing bosses 31b and 31c are provided between the cylinders so as to support the cam shaft 21, and a pump drive cam for driving the fuel pump is installed on the cam shaft 21, and a drive member 53 to transmit the rotation of this pump driving cam to the plunger 51 is installed between adjoining cylinders and supported by the bearing boss 31b.
