PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install an outer face work device on a multistory building at a low cost by moving a gondola cage horizontally and vertically between a curing member suspended from the upper section of the building and fixed to the building during the work and a wall face, and vertically moving the curing member to change the work area. SOLUTION: A curing frame 20 and a gondola cage 30 moved in it are suspended and supported by support members 10 arranged on the rooftop of a building. The curing frame 20 is vertically moved by the synchronous drive of winding devices provided on the support members 10 suspending and supporting curing frame suspension ropes 14, and the gondola cage 30 is vertically moved by the drive of a winding device and is horizontally moved by the drive of trolleys 31. The curing frame 20 is fixed to a wall face by a fixing device provided on the curing frame 20, and the gondola cage 30 is moved vertically and horizontally for the work in a wall face area covered by the curing frame 20. The work object wall face portion is shifted in sequence by the vertical movement of the curing frame 20, thus no scaffold is required around the building, little effect is given to residents, and this work device is adaptable to a multistory building.
