PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wooden member joint metal fitting which is used for jointing two wooden members in a building or the like, avoids waste in materials to be used, and can easily fix a surface material even in a site where the fitting is used, and the structure of the wooden member joint part excellent in the displacement constraint property. SOLUTION: In a wooden member joint metal fitting 1, a plurality of overhangs 2 and 3 and recess parts A and B are provided at both end parts in the longitudinal direction of a stainless steel, and one overhang corresponds to the recess part at the other end part. A recessed part is formed on the surface of the overhangs 2 and 3, and a fixing part 4 with a through hole for inserting a screw into the center part is provided. An opening 5 is formed at the center part of the stainless steel, and a nib 6 for temporary fixing is provided in the opening 5. A screw 15 is inserted into the through hole of the fixing part 4 for penetrating beams 11 and 12, thus firmly fixing the joint metal fitting 1 to the two wooden members.
