PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fence which can arbitrarily cope with setting conditions inclusive of a slope and a bend by always maintaining a parallel state between upper and lower crossbars and between a number of vertical bars, and making variable a connecting angle which the cross bar forms with the vertical bar. SOLUTION: Supports 1,... and crossbars 2,... are provided which each are constituted of a cylindrical core member coated with a synthetic resin showing a wood grain pattern on a surface thereof. The crossbars 2 are spanned across the supports 1 which are erected at appropriate intervals. Further, portions near the ends of a number of vertical bars 3, 3, are pivotally connected to the upper and lower crossbars 2, respectively, via attaching bolts, whereby a fence panel 5 is formed. In this case, the upper and lower crossbars 2 and the vertical bars 3 always maintain a parallel state with each other, and a connecting angle which the crossbar 2 forms with the vertical bar 3 is made variable. Therefore, even if the imitation trunk fence is arranged on an uneven place, the fence panel 5 can be erected in a manner corresponding to the slope angle in the set field.
