PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety valve having a few number of parts and a simple structure and preventing the internal water pressure in a shower head from rising when cutting off water or hot water at the shower head. SOLUTION: This shower head 1 is provided with a function of water cutoff capable of changing over delivery and stop of water or hot water by a button 26 operation and the inside passage thereof is demarcated into a primary passage 7 and a second passage 8 by a partition wall 6 and equipped with a changeover unit 15 by which water or hot water from the secondary flow passage 8 to the primary passage 7 can be changed over to delivery and stop of water at every depression of the button 26. The changeover unit 15 is provided with a safety valve 45 by which the primary passage 7 and the secondary passage 8 are connected to communicate with each other when the water pressure of the primary passage 7 rises higher than a preset value when water is cut off.
