PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a complicated dredging work by forming a water intake passage for meandering an intake flow from a harbor and leading the same to an intake port. SOLUTION: A first wall 5 is arranged slantly to a intake flow 4 from the inside of a water intake harbor. To one end of the wall 5 a U shaped second wall 8 is connected. The wall 8 consists of both side walls 8a, 8b crossing at right angles with the flow 4 and a side wall 8c being in parallel with both the walls 8a, 8b. Around the other end of the wall 8 a third wall is formed. A fourth wall 12 is formed adjacently to the wall 8 to form a water intake passage 3. The flow 4 from the harbor is blocked by the wall 5 of the passage 3 and turned into a slant flow reversal thereto, and flows in the wall 8, at which the flow 9 is U turned. The flow 9 is further turned into a reversal flow 11 at right angles with the flow 4 by a wall 12, and taken in a water intake port 2. Accordingly, the purpose is attained.
