PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the oxidation preventability and diffusion preventability of nickel at the time of debindering and to impart thermal shrinking characteristics close to the thermal shrinking curve of a ceramic base material by sticking the oxides and multiple oxides of selected metallic elements to the surfaces of metallic nickel fine particles. SOLUTION: To a slurry in which metallic nickel fine particles or metallic nickel fine particles whose surfaces have been subjected to oxidation treatment are dispersed into a liq., an aq. soln. contg. at least one kind selected from the groups composed of the water soluble salt of metallic elements belonging to the group II to IV in the Periodic Table in the ranges of 12 to 56 and 82 atomic numbers, is added. Its pH is controlled with acid or alkali, and the metallic oxides and multiple oxides derived from the water soluble salt are stuck to the surfaces of the nickel fine particles. As the oxides to be stuck, multiple oxides expressed by the formula: BamX1-mTinZ1-nO3 are preferable. In the formula, X denotes Sr, Ca, Mg or Pb, Z denotes Zr, Y, Sn or Ge, (m) denotes the value of 0 to 1, and (n) denotes the value of 0 to 1.
