PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an excellent diffusion picture without dispersion of quality of picture by providing a means which judges deterioration of the picture quality for the plural diffusion pictures and conducting a diffusion picture process using a picture which is judged that deterioration of picture quality is within a permissible value. SOLUTION: An echo signal which is necessary for a re-constitution of a picture is obtained by repeating a pulse sequence for diffusion imaging four times. A diffusion stressing screen which controls a signal from a moving proton is obtained by re-constituting a picture by dint of using the echo signal (101). The picture is judged whether it is used for diffusion coefficient calculation, or not. An optional standard screen is decided, then compared with the diffusion stress screen. The comparison is conducted by comparing, a pixel value of a background part by dint of using the background part (102). After the judgement, the signal processing part conducts the diffusion stressing calculation process by using only a picture which is judged that it is within a permissible value (103).
