摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely measure the concentration of bilirubin deposited on the fat at the hypoderm without being influenced by the different thickness of epidermis and dermis. SOLUTION: A beam of light from a xenon tube 21 is led from one end 23 of an optical fiber 22 to another end 24 and ejected through an ejecting hole 14. This beam of light is made incident on the skin of a subject and the light scattered inside the skin is ejected into one end 261 of an optical fiber 251 through a first incident hole 15 and also made incident on one end 262 of an optical fiber 252 through a second incident hole 16. The light from the one end 261(262) is separated by a dichroic mirror 281(282). The light reflected from the dichroic mirror 281(282) is accepted by a photoelectric converting element 321(322) through a blue filter and the transmitted light from the dichroic mirror 281(282) is accepted by a photoelectric transfer element 361(362) through a green filter.
