PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air mat device suitable for preventing a bed sore, by which the occurrence of bottoming is prevented from occurring regardless of the posture or weight of a patient and also the inner pressure of air cells is prevented from being increased too much. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a sensor 7 for detecting the bottoming of each air cell constituting an air mat 3 and the inner pressure of each cell is adjusted to such a degree that the bottoming is prevented from occurring. Thus, bottoming is prevented without increasing the inner pressure of each cell too much so that the air mat device 1 by which a bed sore owing to bottoming and too much contact pressure is prevented is provided. |
