PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the heat from a light source from being confined in a part of the inner part of a housing box by providing a vent passage allowing the rear side of an end rail to communicate with the sideward lower part of the housing in the mounting position for a lighting system in the inside upper part of the housing part having the end rail and an illumination mounting plate substantially horizontally provided on the end rail rear side. SOLUTION: A housing box to be buried in the wall of a building has a vertically long square box shape with a small depth, which consists of both side plates 2, a back plate 2b, an upper plate 2c, a bottom plate, and a door body 8 openably and closably mounted on the front opening by a hinge 9. In the mounting position for a lighting system 5 in the inside upper part of the housing box having an end rail 3 and an illumination mounting plate 4 substantially horizontally provided on the rear side of the end rail 3, a vent passage A allowing the rear side of the end rail 3 to communicate with the side lower part within the housing box is provided to perform the ventilation through the vent passage A. According to this, the heat from a light source can be prevented from being confined in a part of the inner part.
