METAL POWDER BRAZING MATERIAL AND BONDING BETWEEN ALUMINUM NITRIDE MEMBER AND METAL MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the outflow of a brazing material in bonding an aluminum nitride member to a metal member with brazing material. SOLUTION: This metal powder brazing material comprises (1) 100 pts.wt. of silver-copper eutectic crystal alloy powder, (2) 10-60 pts.wt. of metal powder which is composed of silver, copper or a metal which is a silver-copper alloy having a composition ratio different from that of the component (1) and has a melting point >=60 deg.C higher than that of the component (1) and 1-85μm average particle diameter and (3) 0.1-5 pts.wt. of active metal powder such as titanium powder or titanium hydroxide powder.
