PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an appropriate cutting line of an excavator and to facilitate the work of forming guide portions for achieving the cutting line. SOLUTION: Leading elements 4, 6 are installed, after which the portion between the leading elements 4, 6 is excavated by an excavator 10 and the opposite ends of the leading elements 4, 6 are cut. An excavation 7 for following elements is thereby formed and concrete is placed in the excavation 7 to install following elements to thereby construct a continuous wall. A channel is dug between the leading elements 4, 6 and excavations are dug adjacent to the channel. While the form faces of guide portions 4a, 6a which serve as forms are placed in predetermined positions, concrete is placed in the excavations and the leading elements 4, 6 having the guide portions 4a, 6a for guiding cutting direction are installed. The form faces are then horizontally separated from the guide portions 4a, 6a and the excavator 10 is kept guided by the guide portions 4a, 6a at the start of excavation and cutting.
