PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coating compsn. improved in alkali film removing properties, coating film drying propertiers, blocking resistance, rustproofness, coating stability and press processability and a lubricating treatment metal panel using the same. SOLUTION: A coating compsn. contains an acrylic resin and a neutralizing agent. The acrylic resin includes metacrylic acid ester consisting of methacrylic acid and 2 or more C alcohol, styrene and a copolymer monomer having a carboxyl group, a copolymer of at least one component selected from maleic acid, fumaric acid, itaconic acid and monoalkyl ester of them and syrene and a polymer of a polymerizable compd. having an ether bond.
