PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the life of a filter longer by surely capturing mist/dust to a dust box without splashing and diffusing the mist/dust in mid way by separating oil, mist, etc., from dust-containing stream by directly sucking and revoluting the dust-containing stream containing the turning, the splashed oil or the mist, etc., generated at a cutting stage of a machine tool and also preventing the retention of the mist, etc., at the inside of the filter for capturing fine mist, etc., as little as possible. SOLUTION: The mist/dust MR and ML are separated and captured to dust boxes 8A and 8B by revoluting the dust-containing stream sucked by receiving the sucking function of a blower at the inside of a cylindrical pipe 4 of a preliminary dust separator 1, and the fine mist/dust ML hardly captured by the preliminary dust separator 1 is captured by a filter 11 of the secondary dust collecting part 10, and the mist/dust captured by these filter are fallen downward by gravity and collected.
