PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety for a blade edge in a simple razor for removing useless hair by freely taking in and out a slide member with an edge to a grip member. SOLUTION: A simple razor comprises an elongated grip member 2 having a rear plate 4 which rises from the rear edge of a bottom plate 3, right and left side plates 5 which rise from right and left side edges thereof and flange shaped plates protruding inward from the upper ends of the right and left side plates to form a space of substantially doubled rectangular shape in cross-section by the inner surface thereof and the upper surface of a clearance between the flange shaped plates and a slide member 11 with an edge which can be freely taken in and out of the front end open surface of the grip member. The slide member with the edge is provided with a flat plate part 13 with an edge protruding from the front surface of a slide plate part 12 having substantially the same size and the same cross sectional shape as those of the space. Stoppers 7 protrude in the inner surface of the front parts of the flange shaped plates and a cut-out part 14 is provided as a stopper passage on the side surface of the upper part of the slide plate part 12, so that the engagement of the stoppers with the rear end of the cut-out part is regarded as the front limit of the forward movement of the slide member.
