PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laundry dryer wherein the generation of a negative pressure in the surrounding space of the laundry dryer is prevented from occurring by a simple structure, and the increase of an indoor humidity due to the negative pressure can be avoided without increasing various costs as much as possible. SOLUTION: This laundry dryer 1 is constituted by providing a rotating drum 3 in which clothes to be dried are housed, a gas burner 4 which feeds hot air into the rotating drum 3, an air suction pipe 5 which feeds air to be consumed by the gas burner 4, from the outside of a building, and an air discharging pipe 6 which discharges the hot air in the rotating drum 3 to the outside of the building, or the like. In the clothes dyer, air which is consumed by the gas burner 4 is fed from the outside of the building by the air suction pipe 5, and air in the surrounding space of the clothes dryer is not consumed, and a negative pressure is not generated in the surrounding space of the laundry dryer.
