PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make reducible the consumption of oxygen. SOLUTION: This artificial respiratory apparatus is provided with a suction air introduction part generating oxygen, a pneumatic pressure generation source generating pneumatic pressure, a vibration pneumatic pressure generation mechanism 20 outputting vibration pneumatic pressure, and a diaphragm mechanism energizing vibration pneumatic pressure to oxygen. The vibration pneumatic pressure generation mechanism 20 is provided with a positive pressure input part 214 in which positive pressure is energized from the pneumatic pressure generation source, a negative pressure input part 215 in which negative pressure is energized, a change-over valve for positive pressure 22A switching the connection of positive pressure with the diaphragm mechanism from the positive pressure input part 214 and its shutting-off freely, an energizing means for positive pressure 23A energizing the switching operation, a change-over valve for negative pressure 22B switching the connection of negative pressure with the diaphragm mechanism from the negative pressure input part 215 and its shutting-off freely, and an energizing means for negative pressure 23B energizing the switching operation.
