PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel cover which is easily attached and detached, and hardly deteriorates the design of the reel. SOLUTION: This protection cover 20 of a spinning reel is made of elastic body freely detachably attached on the rear part of a reel body 2a to protect it partially. The protection cover 20 is constituted in a bag shape by arranging translucent bar-shaped members 20a made of a synthetic resin elastic body in a lattice state. The protection cover 20 protects the reel only partially, and thereby the attaching and detaching of the cover 20 is easy, and the design of the reel is hardly deteriorated.
