PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pour a constant quantity of a liquid at a time from a liquid container composed of a liquid containing part and a cylindrical mouth jaw part communicating with the liquid containing part and protruding downward, and so designed that the liquid is poured from a lower end of the mouth jaw part by pressurizing the liquid in the liquid containing part. SOLUTION: A mechanism for pouring a constant quantity of a liquid includes: a cylindrical guide member 6 which is provided in a mouth jaw part 4, whose outer circumferential surface is in contact with an inner circumferential surface of the mouth jaw part throughout its entire periphery, and which has an inward flange 9 formed at an upper end of the guide member and an opening defined at a lower end thereof, a lid 7 covering the lower end opening of the guide member and having a pouring port 18 whose diameter is smaller than that of the lower end opening and which is opposed thereto; and a float 8 which is contained in the guide member in an axially slidable manner, whose specific gravity is smaller than that of a liquid L in a liquid container, which seals an opening defined inside the inward flange 9 and demarcatingly forms a chamber 21 to be filled with the predetermined quantity of the liquid between the float and the lid when the float is in an upper end position, and which seals the pouring port when it is in a lower end position. |
