PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the wastage of a domestic animal by reinforcing immune activity, preventing infections disease such as a cold and also protecting stress by feeding an oil and fat-coated vitamin C to the domestic animal. SOLUTION: This method for protecting the wastage of a domestic animal is provided by feeding (A) 5-50 (g/day head) oil and-fat-coated vitamin C, and preferably (B) 1-20 (g/day head) chromium yeast and (C) 10-500 (g/day head) theriac for reinforcing immune activity, preventing infectious disease such as a cold, protecting stress and improving the amount of eating of a feed. The oil and fat of the component A is a hardened oil and fat and especially a hardened soybean oil and fat is preferable. The heardened oil and fat preferably has <=5 acid value, <=3 iodine value and 60-65 deg.C melting point. The component B is a beer yeast and contains 1,000-1,600 ppm non-toxic trivalent chromium. Also it is preferable to use 10-100 pt.wt. coating oil and fat based on 100 pts.wt. vitamin C. |
