摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively remove nitrous oxide being an earth warming product from waste gas generating in a waste water treatment process by depositing alkali metal such as Na or K into pores of activated carbon. SOLUTION: A nitrous oxide adsorbent is constituted by depositing the alkali metal into the pores of the activated carbon. At that time, the alkali metal is not specified, but sodium or potassium is preferably used from points of the adsorption property and the economicity. The adsorption tower for the nitrous oxide contains a nitrous oxide adsorbent in the adsorption tower. The treating object is the waste water containing ammonia. The system is a high load type denitrogen system and the waste water is conveyed from a reaction tank 1, an agitation tank 2, an aeration tank 3, another agitation tank 4, a deaeration tank 5 and a setting and separation tank 6 (a flocculating and precipitation tank) in this order. The waste gas is treated with an acid and an alkali washing, then is treated at the adsorption tower 7 to separate and remove N2O in the waste gas.</p>
