PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stamp pad for imparting ink to a stamp in which a constant quantity of ink can be imparted to the stamp from start to end regardless of the viscosity of ink being used or the pressing force of the stamp by providing an ink impregnating body made of a long fiber felt and a surface cloth. SOLUTION: The stamp pad contains an ink pad in a case and the ink pad is impregnated with ink wherein the ink pad comprises a long fiber felt at least as an ink impregnating body and a surface cloth 4. The ink impregnating body is preferably formed as a multiplayer felt composed of at least two layers of a long fiber felt (lower layer) 1 and a short fiber felt (upper layer) 2. A nonwoven fabric 3 may be arranged between the multiplayer felt (1, 2) and the surface cloth 4. The nonwoven fabric 3 preferably has fiber METSUKE in the range of 40-70 g/m2.
