PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas turbine system capable of improving the rate for recovering energy from exhaust gas and the efficiency of the system as a whole. SOLUTION: This gas turbine system is provided with a compressor 2 to compress air 1, a reformer 9 to form reformed gas of high calorie by chemically reforming fuel gas, and a combustor 3 to combust the reformed gas from the reformer 9 by the fluid from the compressor 2. The combustion gas 4, generated by the combustor 3, is sent to a turbine 5 and converted into power, and the exhaust gas from the turbine 5 is supplied to the reformer 9 to be used as a heat source to reform the fuel gas. The fuel gas 10 which is to be sent to the reformer 9 is pressurized previously by a fuel pressurizing means 11, and the pressure of the fuel gas 10 in the reformer 9 becomes equal to or higher than the pressure of the fuel in the combustor 4.
