PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distribute the load of a lift frame and to reduce the rigidity of the lift frame itself by providing a contact roller applying contact pressure to the outer periphery of a bobbin for winding a spun yarn on the vertically movable lift frame, and supporting the lift frame with lift guide members at three or more positions. SOLUTION: This spun yarn winding machine simultaneously winds many spun yarns in parallel, and spun yarns are wound on a plurality of bobbins fitted to a bobbin holder 7a located at the winding position within two bobbin holders 7a, 7b supported on a turret plate. One contact roller 8 rotatably journalled to a lift frame 4 is kept in rolling contact at the prescribed contact pressure with a plurality of packages formed by winding the spun yarns. The vertically movable lift frame 4 is vertically movably supported along two guide bars 21 on a main body frame 1 side at its base end section side and along one guide bar 21 supported on a support frame 20 at the tip section side, and the load of the lift frame 4 is distributed.
