PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction in positioning accuracy at the position where a tube for heat exchanger is inserted in a group of plate fins forming the core of one heat exchanger. SOLUTION: This carrier pallet 1 for plate fin is separately formed out of a carrier plate 11 and an assembly plate 13 capable of positioning and holding a group of plate fins 2, automatically inserting a tube 3 for a heat exchanger into a group of plate fins 2, and expanding the tube 3 with a group of plate fins 2 mounted. A gap is formed between the outer peripheral wall surface of the assembly plate 13 and the groove wall surface of a fitting groove 22 so that the assembly plate 13 fitted into the fitting groove 22 may be movable horizontally in the roughly square fitting groove 22 formed on the opposite side surface to the carrier surface of the carrier plate 11, thus it is possible to prevent the assembly plate 13 from being affected even if the carrier surface of the carrier plate 11 is worn away or deformed by a handling error or the like.
