The iron comprises a diluting device (7, 12, 14, 18) comprising an adjuvant-free water supply system (7), the diluting device being connected to the adjuvant reservoir and designed to produce a diluted adjuvant solution before dispensing. Preferably, the iron comprises an evaporating device (4-10) fed by the water supply system.
