PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deflection of a driven roller due to a load by intermediately supporting a feed roller for feeding materials to be recorded, in a condition having deflection due to tolerance in manufacturing a roller and the weight of the roller itself. SOLUTION: A feed roller 4A for feeding long-size materials to be recorded and a driven roller 4B are arranged in the vicinity of a recording head, and the roller 4B presses the materials to be recorded to the roller 4A to carry them. An intermediately supporting part 20 for intermediately supporting the roller 4A, both the ends of which are supported on the bearing parts 15 and 16 of side frames 100 and 101, are arranged in a side opposite to a side applied by the load of the roller 4B, to receive the load of the roller 4B, thereby preventing the deflection of the roller 4. By acting spring force of springs 37, 28 to the roller 4A, the deflection of the feed roller 4A caused by its self-weight can be suppressed.
