PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a high quality formed product which is free from defects such as a bubble or the like at a low cost by a method wherein a pressure is reduced inside airtight space, the formed product is stuck fast to a forming support tool, air is supplied to an inside of the airtight space thereafter, and a semiformed product is pneumatically pressed. SOLUTION: A reinforcing material 41 such as a glass mesh sheet or the like is arranged as occasion demands to a forming support tool 10 formed so that, for example, a required design is obtained on a surface of an architectural design plate, and then a forming material 40 wherein an inorganic ordinary temperature hardening material is mixed with silica (an aggregate) is charged to impregnate a reinforcing material 41 therewith. After reducing a pressure of an inside of airtight space formed by closing a top cover 14 to a degree of 60-70 Torr, pneumatical pressing is executed at about 1.5-2 atm. Thereby, the highly reliable architectural design plate can be easily obtained at a high speed without any bubble. Therefore a highly priced large size press machine and a mold are made unnecessary, and a large formed product such as a wall material or the like can be effectively manufactured at a low cost. Especially this method is suitable for manufacture of the architectural design plate of a concrete shuttering.
