TOOL FOR PROTECTING YOUNG TREE AND METHOD FOR SETTING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an excellent young tree-protecting tool which can easily and properly be set around a young tree and has a high protecting effect for the young tree by arranging supports and a cylindrical net which have specific properties, respectively. SOLUTION: This protecting tool for surrounding a young tree for its protection comprises at least two supports 5 arranged at prescribed distances around the young tree and a cylindrical net 6 which is cylindrically and vertically held around the young tree through the supports 5. The supports 5 and the cylindrical net 6 have biodegradable properties, respectively. The support 5 each preferably comprises a peg whose lower portion can be buried in the ground and a support main body whose lower portion can be fit to the upper portion of the peg to integrally connect the lower portion to the peg. One or more biodegradable rings are preferably attached over the upper portions of the supports 5.
