PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the tapered part of a filament from remaining deflected even by repeated use and enhance the durability by planting a bundle of the filaments so that the non-taper processed edges of the filaments are located at the longitudinal outer edge of a brush head. SOLUTION: A filament 1 consists of a synthetic resin fiber having a taper processed part 1a at one end and a non-processed part 1b at the other end. A plurality of planting holes 3 is preliminarily formed in a brush head 2. The bent part of a filament bundle 4 is driven thereto with a locking piece such as wire. The filament bundle 4 is formed of a bundle of the filaments 1 with the taper processed filament ends in the same direction, which is bent in the center part in U-shape, and it is necessary to plant the filament bundle 4 so that the non-processed filament ends are located on the longitudinal outer edge of the brush head 2.
