DEVICE FOR REMOVAL OF SLAG FROM HOT-METAL TRANSFER LADLE

metallurgy; removal of slag from hot- metal transfer ladle. SUBSTANCE: trolley is set in motion by hydraulic cylinder found under its frame. Hydraulic cylinders 18 raise carriage with rod and scraper over vertical guides located inside swivel column to upper position by means of first pair of supporting and hold-down rollers. Rod with scraper is moved towards rear wall of hot-metal transfer ladle by means of drive 17 with the aid of second pair of supporting and hold- down rollers of carriage. Then hydraulic cylinders 18 lower carriage with rod immersing the scraper into slag. During return motion of rod between supporting and hold-down rollers of carriage, scraper entraps slag to pouring lip of ladle. Then carriage with rod is raised and hydraulic cylinder 19 turns swivel column through required angle in horizontal plane, after which working cycle is repeated. EFFECT: facilitated procedure; reduced overall dimensions; ease in maintenance; extended technological capabilities. 4 cl, 5 dwg
