INHALATION DEVICE

The inhaler for inhaling a medicament in powder form has a housing with a mouthpiece (20). The powder is contained in a continuous strip of capsules form from two strips of flexible material. The first strip consists of a line of small pockets with each pocket containing powder. The second strip is a sealing strip which is bonded to the first strip and seals all the pockets. The inhaler has a mechanism which is actuated by an external lever (24). This lever rotates toothed wheels which drive the strip of capsules into the inhalation chamber and at the same time removes the sealing strip so that the powder can be inhaled by the user through the mouthpiece (20).
