Quasicrystal-polymer composite materials and methods

摘要

Polymer-quasicrystal composites and methods for processing quasicrystals, including methods in which quasicrystals are dispersed in polymers by polymerization precipitation. These composites exhibit increased wear resistance over unfilled polymer and other filled composites using the same polymer binder.
