PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive the effective utilization of a site by adjacently arranging a plurality of laterally installed building units and one vertically installed building unit in a site whose frontage is narrow. SOLUTION: A plurality of laterally installed building units 1A installing a long side along the direction of a frontage 101 are arranged in a site 102 whose frontage 101 is narrow is compared with the area in the direction of a short side. One vertically installed building unit 1B installing the short side along the direction of the frontage 101 is made adjacent to the short side of the unit 1A, and vacant ground spaces 103, 104 are formed on the side of the frontage 101 of the unit 1B and the interior side respectively. Next, a living room and a staircase room are provided in the unit 1A, and a main entrance is provided in the unit 1B. The long side of the unit 1B is made the length of the substantially two times of the short side of the unit 1A, and arrangement and joining are facilitated. Therefore, the arrangement position of the vertically installed building unit is varied in the direction of the interior to form many variations, the narrow site can be effectively utilized, and, since the plane of structure resisting horizontal external force increases, durability can be improved.
