PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize display of a reception level at which a stable speech is attained even in the case that a mobile phone is used while a user of the mobile phone moves at high speed. SOLUTION: A receiver 1 applies amplification, frequency conversion and band limit to a received wave and gives the resulting received wave to a reception level detection section 2. The reception level detection section 2 detects this reception wave, converts it into a voltage and outputs the voltage to a fading frequency detection section 3 and a control section 5 as a detected voltage. The fading frequency detection section 3 detects a fading frequency on the basis of a periodic fluctuation of this detected voltage. The control section 5 receives the fading frequency and selects one of tables that store threshold values used to stepwise switching of the reception level indication depending on the fading frequency. Furthermore, the control section 5 compares the received detected voltage with the contents of the selected table and gives a signal to a display drive section 7 so that the reception level in matching with the table is to be indicated. The display drive section 7 drives a display section 6 which displays the reception level. |
