摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a data shifting method capable of switching three kinds of data shift modes in accordance with the load of a host and the degrees of loads of both controllers. SOLUTION: The data shifting method is constituted of a 1st information processor consisting of a 1st host 100 and a 1st disk system 101 for transmitting/ receiving data to/from the host 100 and a 2nd information processor consisting of a 2nd host 200 and a 2nd disk system 201 and mutually connects the 1st and 2nd disk systems 101, 201 so that data can be shared by both the disk devices 101, 201. Any one of three kinds of data shift modes, i.e., a synchronizing mode and a semi-synchronizing mode having respectively different data processing rates and an adaptive copying mode is selected in accordance with the operation quantity of the host 100.
