PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointing device which can be also used for electronic equipment for which miniaturizing and thinning are desired and does not generate erroneous operation in the case of return-to-origin of a manipulator. SOLUTION: A manipulator 300 is mounted on a main body 100 of case so as to almost horizontally move and operate and a spacer 400 to vertically slide with the operation and movement of the manipulator 300 is provided. Then, a return means 500 is provided for returning the manipulator 300 and the spacer 400 to the position of an origin and a tapered surface 411 is provided as a stop means for stopping the manipulator 300 returned to the position of the origin at the sliding spot of the spacer 400. |
