摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp lighting device to satisfy higher harmonics performance at a low cost by reducing input current distortion from the commercial power source and feeding a current, even in the neighborhood of a zero-voltage phase. SOLUTION: A discharge lamp lighting device is composed of a rectifying circuit 3 to make full-wave rectification of a commercial AC power source 1, transistors 4 and 5 as a first and second switching means connected in series to each other and turned on and off alternately, to convert the DC voltage from the rectifier circuit into a high-frequency voltage, an oscillator circuit 8 for emitting drive signals to alternately turn on and off the first and second transistors, a first 6 and second diode 7 in opposite parallel connections with the first and second transistors, and a first capacitor 12 connected in parallel with a discharge lamp 11, wherein a first resonance circuit is formed from a first coil and the first capacitor, while a second resonance circuit is configured with a load circuit 9 including the first resonance circuit, a second 13 and a third capacitor 14 connected parallel with the output side of the rectifier circuit, and a second coil 17.
