PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earth leakage circuit breaker improved in assembling facility. SOLUTION: In an electromagnet device 60, a small-diameter part between a flange-shaped drive part 69a and a pressing part 69b of a plunger 67 is engaged with an engagement part 46 of an engagement piece 8c of a tripping plate 8, and the plunger 67 is energized in the projecting direction by a coil spring provided in a coil frame 80. The engagement piece 8c provided with the engagement part 46 is energized by the pressing part 69b of the plunger 67 and a turning force is given to the tripping plate 8 in the direction that locks one end 7a side of a working plate 7.
