PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it easy to use an inquiry by an application by providing the database with tables for storing a database inquiry used by a database client application. SOLUTION: For the database(DB), the inquiry tables are generated together with identification numbers corresponding to DB inquiries. Then DB inquiries used by the database client application are stored in all tables (S510) for use by the application(AP). In operation, a DB client AP implements various functions needed to run the AP itself (S512). When DB access is requested (S514), the client AP uses a stored identification number to retrieve the corresponding DB inquiry from the inquiry table and returns its result (S516). The retrieved inquiry is supplied to the DB (S518) and then the AP continues to implement various functions (S512).
