PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow messaging terminals to communicate messages to each other by generating a message for transmission by the communication system corresponding to specific information by using the specific information and a received message and sending it to a specified messaging terminal. SOLUTION: A message transmission database 110 and multiple messaging terminals 106 are connected through a message gateway 100. The message gateway 100 receives a message including user information on a transmission destination from a messaging terminal 106 and specifies the messaging terminal 106 of a transmission destination user of the message by using the user information included in the message and the message transmission database 110. The specific information and received message are used to generate a message for transmission by the communication system corresponding to the specific information and the message is transmitted to the specified messaging terminal 106.
