RECOVERING METHOD FOR GIGANTIC DNA FROM GEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for recovering a gigantic DNA easily splittable in a solution such as a chromosome DNA from a gel while suppressing its splitting. SOLUTION: In this recovering method, one or more inter-solution boundaries are formed by solutions different in type and concentration in a container, a gel containing a gigantic DNA is inserted into one solution, the gigantic DNA is moved to another solution separated from the solution contained in the gel by an inter-solution boundary via electrophoresis, and the gigantic DNA is recovered in the condensation state (globule state) capable of suppressing its splitting.
